WATERTOWN'S 2021 HOME RULE CHARTER

Our Home Rule Charter serves as our constitution.

It defines the organization, powers, functions and essential procedures of our city government.​

Numerous changes were approved by voters in November 2021. The addition of a Preamble is one of the broadest changes.

​

Watertown's Home Rule Charter is next up for review in 2025, and every 10 years thereafter.
